In our perfect world view of nature, we sometimes assume that a type of altruism is at work behind its interdependent process. Yet, this is not true. Most species are driven by their own needs and desires, yet inadvertently still play a role in the well being of others. In nature everything is a blending of inseparable differences.
Nature operates with a win/win philosophy apparent in the plant world's pollination processes and seed distribution methods. A flower attracts the tiny insects that will control infestations and steward its pollination processes. The bee is driven by its own need for sustenance, while carrying pollen on its legs from flower to flower. Some plants grow seeds that use the wind, or the fur of passing animals for procreation. Nature finds harmony even while honoring differences. This inspires the idea that you need not push your way into the world; a place has already been set for you.
Nature can inspire you with the knowledge that strength is not measured by how you conquer others, but how you conquer yourself. A fear of inadequacy can lead to defensiveness. When you overcome your fear, you can interact with a type of inner strength that need not be proven.
Your environment may nurture you, but it does not define you: that takes place from direction that rises within. Adaptation reveals that everything you will ever need to survive is already within you. Nothing new is added to the genetic mix, and you need only turn inward to allow experience to carve away the layers that hide your authenticity. More importantly, you need not fight the very thing that is ensuring your success.
